Concrete fence posts and gravel boards for garden boundaries
Concrete fence posts are a practical support option for timber panel fencing in Telford and Shropshire. They resist rot and do not need timber preservative treatment. With compatible slotted posts, individual panels can be changed when needed. The correct post type, spacing and installation depth must still be selected for the fence, ground conditions and exposure at the property.
Why include concrete gravel boards?
A gravel board sits beneath the timber panel and helps keep its base away from direct contact with soil. It also provides a consistent lower edge to the fence. Concrete gravel boards can be paired with suitable panels and posts, but their height needs to be considered when calculating the overall boundary height.
A complete installation rather than isolated components
Straight, corner and end posts need to work together along the fence run. Gate openings may require a different support arrangement. Tell us about your existing fence, the panel style you want and any changes in level. We can discuss whether new concrete posts, replacement panels or a repair are appropriate for the site.
